Pets, are so cool.

If you take the time to know them, you find they are like people, with different preferences, different personalities, different quirks. They are curious about things and they are stubborn about other things.

This is a group of dogs with totally different

personalities. The little guy on the left ( Jack)is a yippee son of a gun. He yips and yaps at everything. Once he begins to feel comfortable with the situation, then he calms down some. The pug in the middle ( Truman) is an independent kinda dude, walks proud and nips at the yippie ones mouth if he starts going nuts barking.

The pug on the right was visiting.

Not sure of his personality. And the guy in the background, that is Harvey. Harvey is the gentle giant, he would love to be a lap dog if his size had not gotten in the way. Harvey is the protector, the comfort one. Jack is really skitzo, and Truman is a dog that likes to jump in your lap, then fall asleep snoring.100_0927 This is Harvey with hair, with the newest of the bunch, Ziggy. Ziggy is a character, he holds his lower jaw out, kinda looks like he is playing with his dentures. He loves his owner, and out of the group, he loves to get the dogs chasing each other. Ziggy is a little spoiled, and as you can see in this photo, he shows he thinks his stuff is cool.

Harvey knows he is big,

and the little dogs seems to nestle in him and find strength and security with his size.

Similar to people, if you have a friend that is more muscular, larger, and a protector, it feels safe to be around them. That is what the dogs seems to get from Harvey.

It is so neat to watch them function,

not a care in the world except living, whining to go out, what time meal time is, and where it is okay to rest and sleep. They are kids that never grow up, they have unconditional love, they try to please, they love to be worked with, they love to play, they sense when you are down or sick and stay by your side till they know you are better. For those of you who have a dog, or have had one in your life, I think you can relate, if the dog was allowed in the house.

For those who have never had a dog, well in my mind, you don’t know what you are missing. 100_0783

Just ask Imus

( our cat)who his best friend is, and he will tell you ( if he could talk) that it is Indi, our poodle mix. They have no idea they are supposed to be enemies. They play together, tease each other, sleep next to each other and look for each other if one is not in sight. Indi gently plays with Imus like they were at the dog park together. Taking the time to see the magic of a pet, well that is priceless. I hope each of you have the time to enjoy this experience. It is worth so very much. With love, Cindy
